Jeju Premium Green Tea – Traditional Korean Tea, Handcrafted on Halla Mountain
Our Jeju Premium Green Tea is an exceptional, small-batch tea grown in the volcanic soil of Halla Mountain, Jeju Island, at 500 metres altitude. Grown using natural, ecological farming methods without any chemical fertilisers or pesticides, this tea is as pure as the environment it comes from.
Every spring, the first young buds are carefully handpicked and undergo a meticulous, traditional roasting process that takes five to six rounds of roasting and drying in a 250°C cast iron cauldron — a method perfected over 30 years by Jeju’s last remaining traditional tea makers. This unique process produces a golden-coloured tea, free from the bitterness and grassy notes of machine-processed teas.
With each sip, you’ll experience a soft, nutty flavour with a lasting sweetness that gently rises under the tongue after drinking. Thanks to its low tannin content, the tea can be steeped multiple times without becoming bitter. The caffeine in this tea is naturally balanced by catechins, ensuring a light, non-addictive experience that refreshes without overstimulation.
